The CanoScan LiDE 30 is an easy to use scanner that
gives you excellent, high-resolution scans with consistent results across the
width of the page. LiDE (LED Indirect Exposure) is Canon's own, advanced scanner
technology. It provides scans of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi and 48 bit colour with
very low energy consumption - so low, in fact, that the LiDE 30 doesn't even need
a power plug. It gets all
the power it needs from the USB connection.
The LiDE 30 measures just 256 x 383 x 34mm and is finished with an attractive
light blue metallic coloured lid. In addition, the LiDE 30 includes a scanner
stand as a standard accessory, enabling the user to store and scan with the
scanner on its side, providing the world’s smallest installation footprint.
The CanoScan LiDE 30 includes three EZ scan buttons, w3hich you can configure
to perform the functions you use most. The "Scan" button saves the
scanned image to file, "Copy" sends your image to a printer for automatic
output, and "Email" saves the scanned file, as a specified file size,
for attachment.
The One Pass Multi-Scan feature on the CanoScan LiDE 30 ensures faster scanning
of multiple images than previously. Historically, the more multiple images to
be scanned, the longer scanning will take, because images are scanned one at
a time. One Pass Multi-Scan ensures that multiple images are scanned collectively
ensuring faster scanning operation.
