This versatile all-in-one delivers up to 4800 optimised dpi
printing, easy scanning and standalone colour copying. And with built in camera
card slots, it even allows direct printing from digital camera memory cards –
no need to switch on you PC.
The HP PSC 2179 is an all-in-one that has been specifically
designed to simplify photo printing, scanning and copying. Direct photo printing
will appeal to anyone who already owns – or is considering buying – a
digital camera, while the ability to produce prints of a professional quality
ensures results that everyone will want to share.
Built in digital camera card readers’ mean you can print
digital photos directly from your digital camera, without having to switch on
your PC. HP Photo Proof Sheet prints out thumbnail photos of all your images so
you can select which photos to print.
The PSC 2179 offers optional 6 colour (with the purchase of a
photo cartridge) printing and HP Photoret IV technology for virtually grain free
images and long lasting, fade resistant photos. HP uses dye-based inks for
longer lasting colour photos, and pigment based black ink for razor sharp text.
Fast printing and copying with smart features for consistent,
reliable results – print or copy at up to 18 pages per minute in black and up
to 13 pages per minute in colour. Automatic media detection adjusts print/copy
settings for optimum quality. The PSC 2179 also has a composite black mode,
which enables printing even if the ink cartridge runs out.
